They’ve set the official pre-release date for Tuesday, Nov. 17th, but you can hear clips of every song right now on this very episode! Ryan and Anji also detail recent changes to lovespirals.com, including the new logo created by ithinkitsnice, new band photos by Susan Jennings, the Future Past discography page, audio clips, and album lyrics. They also give a big pitch for why you should join their Facebook page at facebook.com/lovespirals, invite you to join their street team with instructions for one simple task, and talk about their first interview for the new album. But the best story of this episode is about how English fan, Andrew Banville was FIRST to order the CD, for the 3rd time!!!
Lovespirals are back with tons of stories, mostly related to their upcoming new album, Future Past. The duo just returned from a trip up North to master the album with Robert Rich, and throw an intimate pre-release listening party at the BlizzzzCrib with a few friends including members of Karmacoda, Under, and Falling You, as well as band photographer, Susan Jennings, and Sinikus and Sarika of Below Zero. The band also discuss finalizing CD artwork with Scott of ithinkitsnice and going green by manufacturing with Groove House Records. Ryan and Anji also talk about attending the Immersion Festival and hanging out with Steve Roach and Loren Nerell afterwards at Noisebug. The show closes with a clip from the opening track of Future Past, “Home.”

The Ecstatic EP has just been updated with new high quality 192 kbps files (as opposed to the old 128 kbps files) and new full-cover artwork featuring photography by Susan Jennings. Not only is the sound quality and appearance of the CD vastly improved, but an extra track has been added (the instrumental “Beatitude” featuring guest musicians Doron Orenstein and Gabriel D. Vine of Toof), bumping the EP up to 37 minutes in length. Order a copy online only at www.mp3.com/lovespirals!
We’ve updated our Mp3.com page with brand new artwork and a new song, “Windblown Kiss”, from our upcoming album on Projekt. Special thanks goes out to our wonderful photographer, Susan Jennings, for all her awesome work with us!
Speaking of Projekt, looks like we’re doing the Projekt Fest 2002 this May, just in time for the release for our new album! We’re still working out how we’ll peform our set live, which will be a bit of a challenge, but fun. Doron plans to come with us, so you can expect a little more sax live than on the album, which should prove interesting.
Lastly, we now have a Lovespirals Yahoo! Group for those seeking a public forum about the band. Included on the newsgroup is lyrics, band photos, links to various interviews, reviews etc on outside sites and other fun stuff.
