Welcome to the official site of Lovespirals, the Southern California indie band of musician/producer, Ryan Lum, and lyricist/vocalist, Anji Bee. This site was founded way back in 1998 by band founder, Ryan Lum, who also coded and created the site. To this day, lovespirals.com is still designed and maintained exclusively by the band. (So don’t be fooled by our third person style writing LOL!)

For the old-timers out there looking for Lum’s earlier work, please visit the official Love Spirals Downwards site at which archives data going all the way back to 1996, when the band site was hosted through the Projekt Records website. The site includes plenty of information about the band’s prior 8 year history, including audio, photos, interviews, and a past performances list.

As you can imagine, the site has gone through many changes over the years. We are currently running on WordPress, using a modified Elegant Themes design. We love the functionality and connectivity blogs offer over traditional websites, and hope that you will take advantage of the ability to subscribe to the site via RSS to stay up to date with all our latest news. Be sure to subscribe to our podcast, Chillin’ with Lovespirals, to hear all about our lives, recording process, and to get sneak peeks of our music before anyone else!

Lovespirals have always been heavily tied to the Internet and relish the band/fan relationship online. We encourage you to leave us feedback via email or comments on our posts, which we do read and sometimes respond to - occassionally even through our podcast.
