Echoes Radio Spinning “Aspen Glow”

Nice to see that John Diliberto of the nationally syndicated radio show, Echoes, is still enjoying our recording of John Denver’s “Aspen Glow” from the Projekt Excelsis ~ A Prelude CD released in 2001. Our recording appeared on the Echoes playlists for December 18th and 20th, under the evocative title, “An Echoes Winter SolsticeSoundscape.”

Pandora Adds ‘Life Goes On’ To Library

The popular music discovery site, Pandora, has added our new album, ‘Life Goes On,’ to its music library. This is a nice surprise, as they had previously rejected our 2010 album, ‘Future Past,’ returning our package unopened, with a cryptic note that they already had too much of “this genre” in their collection. We were pretty shocked that they felt there were too many albums which combined the sound of female fronted trip hop and chillout with the sounds of guitar-heavy classic rock ala Pink Floyd, but hey, maybe we were just ignorant of how mainstream our music was at the time? (Yeah, right…) Anyway, we’re more than happy to let bygones be bygones, as the service has seen fit to add the latest Lovespirals album to their library, which also includes our 3 albums prior to ‘Future Past,’ as well as a 2012 remix EP. Who knows? Maybe one day they’ll even add in that missing 4th album to have the complete set.

Memories

My memories
Are all that I have
Our love was too beautiful
For it to last
So memories
Are all that remain
And here I cling to them
Going insane

Oh memories
Leave me alone
You bring no comfort to
This heart of stone
My memories
Can’t turn back time
And return me to
When you were mine

Memories (sweet memories)
Are crowding my mind (crowding my mind)
I cannot shake, cannot shake
These ties that bind
Memories
Sweet memories
Memories, memories
Ooh ooh ooh ooh

Foolish Heart

Stoking the embers
Fanning the fire
My heart’s aflame
And you’re to blame
You filled me with desire

Burning away
All that I knew
And turned to ash
My happy past
Destroyed a thing so true

Oh take pity on my foolish heart
Please do, do, do
Oh take pity on my simple soul
Boo hoo hoo hoo

Stoking the embers
Fanning the fire
My heart’s aflame
And you’re to blame
You filled me with desire

Burning away
All that I knew
And turned to ash
My happy past
Destroyed a thing so true

Oh take pity on my foolish heart
Please do, do, do
Oh take pity on my simple soul
Boo hoo hoo hoo

Boo hoo

Oh take pity on my foolish heart
Please do, do, do, do, do, do
Oh take pity on my simple soul
Boo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo
Hoooo oooh oooh…

Oh take pity on my foolish heart
Please do, do, do

Spinning Circles

Up and down
Down and up
You’re up and down again
Back and forth
Changing sides
You’re changing your mind again

You’ve got me spinning circles
Spinning round and round
Spinning ’til I’m dizzy
Falling to the ground
You’ve got me spinning circles
Round and round again
Spinning ’til I’m dizzy
Where will this all end?
Where will it end?

Up and down
Down and up
You’re up and down again
Back and forth
Changing sides
You’re changing your mind again

You’ve got me spinning circles
Spinning round and round
Spinning ’til I’m dizzy
Falling to the ground
You’ve got me spinning circles
Round and round again
Spinning ’til I’m dizzy
Where will this all end?
You’ve got me spinning circles
Spinning round and round
Spinning ’til I’m dizzy
Falling to the ground
You’ve got me spinning circles
Round and round again
Spinning ’til I’m dizzy
Where will this all end?
Where will it end?

Brother Against Brother

It’s brother against brother
Woman against man
Struggling for power
Why can’t they understand?

Though they might have dominance
Destruction is not prominence
We don’t float or sink alone
We all share the same home
Home

Dark Night Of The Soul

They say there is a light
At the end of every tunnel
But when you’re in mid-flight
Overwhelmed by your troubles
This is the dark night of the soul
(This is) the dark night of the soul

If only I could remember
Just to breathe
If only I could recall
How to be (how to be)

This is the dark night of the soul
(This is) the dark night of the soul

If only I could remember
Just to breathe
If only I could recall
How to be

Heartstrings

I feel him tug my heartstrings
His fingers pluck the melodies
Part of the cosmic fugue now
Melding into everything

Turn away our daily cares and
Let the music soothe our souls
And the notes that he’s playing
Combine with mine to make us whole

Music is magic
I feel it moving me
Music has the power
To set our souls free

In the quiet of the night
All alone in our room
While the world is fast asleep now
He and I compose this tune

Music is magic
I feel it moving me
Music has the power
To set our souls free
Free

I feel him tug my heartstrings
His fingers pluck the melodies
Part of the cosmic fugue now
Melding into everything

Music is magic
I feel it moving me
Music has the power
To set our souls free

To set our souls free
To set our souls free

Music is magic
I feel it moving me

Life Goes On

I been thinking ‘bout
That sunny afternoon
Like a magic spell
Fading all too soon

Life goes on
That’s what you say
Life goes on
Anyway
You said, “life goes on”
So callously
‘Cause your life moved on
Without me

I miss our idyll hours
And I feel no regret
Only wish I found it
Easy to forget

Life goes on
That’s what you say
Life goes on
Anyway
You said, “life goes on”
So callously
‘Cause your life moved on
Without me

Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Without me
Ah ah ah ooh
Without me

Life goes on
That’s what you say
Life goes on
Anyway
You said, “life goes on”
So callously
‘Cause your life moved on
Without me
Life goes on
Is what you say
Life goes on
Anyway
You said, “life goes on”
Now I see
That your life moved on
Without me
Without me
Ooh ooh ooh
Without me

Will It Ever Be The Same

You don’t see me
You don’t hear me
Not sure I even exist to you
And everything that you’ve put me through

Are we still on the same plane?
Are we still on the same page?

We’re moving
In circles
Like planets, orbit slowly
Are you even aware of me?

Are we still on the same plane?
Are we still on the same page?

Can you see my face?
Or have I been erased?
Do you recall my name?
And tell me, will it ever be the same?

Are we still on the same plane?
Are we still on the same page?

Can you see my face?
Or have I been erased?
Do you recall my name?
And tell me, will it ever be the same?

Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me
Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me
